Sting with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra come to the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre in Tampa Saturday, July 3, 2010

Grammy-award winning artist Sting will perform in Tampa with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra during his “Symphonicity” World Tour at 8 p.m. Sat., July 3 in the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Sting will play his biggest hits re-interpreted as symphonic arrangements backed by his orchestra.

Prior to starting his solo career, Sting was the principal songwriter, lead singer and bassist of The Police. As a solo musician and member of The Police, Sting has received sixteen Grammy Awards for his work, his first for Best Rock Instrumental Performance in 1981, in addition to an Oscar nomination for best song. He is a member of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
